Stewart County High School recently entered into an exclusive agreement with Consolidated Media making all of their football and basketball games available LIVE
throughout the 2019-2020 school year on 105.1 THE WOLF.
Residents throughout Stewart County have for a long time been huge fans of the all country music format
featured on THE WOLF, and there’s already been lots of excitement expressed within the local business community about the airing of Rebel Sports on the station.
Stewart County High School sports fans will not miss a single moment of Rebel Football or Basketball this year as in addition to radio coverage both home and away broadcasts will be streamed online at 1051thewolf.com and via THE WOLF’s unique mobile app. These games will be brought to fans LIVE courtesy of a beloved local broadcast team consisting of Bryan Milton and Bryan Taylor. The Bryans, as they’re affectionately known, have been calling SCHS games online for the past few seasons. They’re both very excited about taking their talents to the FM airwaves via one of our state’s largest terrestrial signals.
SCHS Principal Dr. Ben Duncan and head boy’s basketball coach Nick Wallace initiated conversations pertaining to this partnership. The agreement between the school and Consolidated Media was granted final approval at the last Stewart County Board of Education meeting. It’s been almost 3 decades since Rebel Football and Basketball games were broadcast LIVE on local radio, and 105.1 THE WOLF is very proud to be the station facilitating this on-air comeback. Anyone with questions about the SCHS sports broadcast schedule or about getting involved with these broadcasts from a sponsorship standpoint should contact Consolidated Media’s Sports Director Justin Swallows at (931) 249-4900.
